Lamborghini Huracan vs Lamborghini Aventador S
Until recently, Lamborghini has had just two models on offer, and though they are very different, sometimes they can be difficult to tell apart. That’s where we can help. In our Lamborghini Huracan vs Lamborghini Aventador S comparison, we will teach you how to spot the difference and talk about what’s different under the hood.
How to tell the Aventador S and Huracan apart
If you are out looking for Lamborghini models whether in the streets of Miami, Italy, or even at some meetup, we can help you tell them apart by site with this handy spotting guide.
From the front
Up front, the Aventador S (1st picture) has taller headlights and more angled cockpit. The hood of the Huracan (2nd picture) is flat whereas the Aventador S hood is more sculpted. When it comes to the grill, you can pick out the Aventador S as its grille seems to curl underneath the headlights.
From the side
When looking at these two Lamborghini models from the side, they do have a similar silhouette. However, you can pick out the Aventador S because of its much larger side intake and sharper nose.
From the back
The back is the easiest place to tell these two models apart. The Aventador S has louvers on the window and taillights with three distinct segments. The Huracan has single segment taillights and no louvers.
If that fails, look to the exhaust. The Aventador S collects all the exhaust into three tailpipes in the middle, whereas the Huracan outputs its exhaust from four pipes with two on either side of the vehicle.
Do the Lamborghini supercars employ different engines

Under the hood of each of these Lamborghini models, you have a very different engine. The Aventador S employs a V12 that’s good for 729 horsepower. The Huracan is still impressive, but it utilizes a V10 engine that’s good for anywhere between 579 horsepower to 640 horsepower depending on which model you select.
